Inflevex is a COX-2 preferential NSAID for dogs containing carprofen, indicated for the relief of pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis and for the control of postoperative pain following soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery. Manufactured by EVA Pharma Animal Health — proudly made in Egypt. Do not use in cats. Prescription only — for use under veterinary supervision.
How to Use
Administer orally with food to minimise gastrointestinal upset. Recommended dose: 4 mg/kg once daily or 2 mg/kg twice daily. Double-scored tablet — can be divided into halves or quarters for accurate weight-based dosing. Do not use concurrently with other NSAIDs or corticosteroids. Do not use in dogs with hepatic, renal, or cardiac disease, gastrointestinal ulceration, or known hypersensitivity to carprofen. Baseline liver and kidney function tests recommended before long-term use. Store securely out of reach of dogs due to palatability. Prescription only.
