Freeze-drying preserves the worms in their natural form while retaining their full nutritional value, without the hygiene risks associated with live or frozen bloodworms.
The naturally high protein content of blood worms supports fast, healthy growth and strong body development. The natural red pigments (haemoglobin) that give bloodworms their distinctive colour are also absorbed by fish, contributing to vivid, vibrant colouration — particularly in red, orange, and pink coloured species. Their high palatability and natural scent make them irresistible even to the most selective fish, and they can be crumbled into smaller pieces for feeding smaller species.
Feed as a treat or dietary supplement alongside a complete staple food. Offer only as much as the fish can consume within 3–5 minutes.
