Innoheart is a dual-action veterinary cardiac tablet combining enalapril (ACE inhibitor) and sildenafil (vasodilator/PDE5 inhibitor) in a single fixed-dose formula. It is indicated for the treatment of congestive heart failure associated with pulmonary arterial hypertension in dogs and cats — including dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and myxomatous mitral valve disease (MMVD). The combination of enalapril and sildenafil provides complementary mechanisms of action: enalapril reduces cardiac workload by blocking the renin-angiotensin system, while sildenafil reduces pulmonary arterial pressure through selective vasodilation — together providing more complete cardiovascular support than either drug alone. Prescription only — for use under veterinary supervision.
How to Use
Administer orally once every 12 hours. Standard dose: 1 tablet per 10 kg body weight every 12 hours (equivalent to 0.5 mg/kg enalapril and 1 mg/kg sildenafil). Dose may be adjusted according to clinical response and veterinarian's judgement. Do not use without veterinary supervision. Monitor renal function and blood pressure regularly during treatment. Available in 30 tablets.
