Nutra-Fix is a highly palatable acid neutraliser and alkali replacer for horses prone to tying up (Exertional Rhabdomyolysis). Tying up is a painful muscle cramping condition caused by lactic acid buildup — triggered by genetic predisposition, electrolyte imbalance, high-starch diets, or hard work. Nutra-Fix contains trisodium citrate to neutralise lactic acid in skeletal muscle, branch chain amino acids (BCAAs) to aid muscle recovery, and key nutrients to maintain a favourable acid-base balance for maximum performance. Results in less stiffness after work and improved performance. Suitable for all horses prone to stiffness after exercise or competition. A pump is supplied which dispenses 30 ml. Formulated by Mervue Laboratories, Ireland — since 1986.
Add to normal daily feed. Horses in training: 90 ml per day in the evening feed. After competition or hard work: 120 ml. Always ensure fresh water is available. Available in 1 L and 2.5 L.
