Ceftonit Forte is a long-acting third generation cephalosporin antibiotic injectable suspension containing ceftiofur crystalline-free acid (200 mg/ml) for cattle and pigs. Ceftiofur is highly effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria including β-lactamase-producing strains and some anaerobes — making it suitable even for resistant infections. The crystalline-free acid (CCFA) formulation provides prolonged release after a single injection. Manufactured by NITA-FARM. Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to ceftiofur or other β-lactam antibiotics. Prescription only — for use under veterinary supervision.
How to Use
Administer by intramuscular or subcutaneous injection as directed by a veterinarian. Do not use simultaneously with tetracyclines, chloramphenicol, aminoglycosides, furosemide, or ethacrylic acid. Withdrawal period: meat 8 days (cattle); meat 5 days (pigs); milk 0 days (cattle). Prescription only.
