Ilium Meloxicam is a palatable oral NSAID suspension for cats, indicated for the alleviation of inflammation and pain in acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders — including discospondylitis, arthropathy, and soft tissue injuries. Meloxicam is a COX-2 preferential inhibitor that reduces inflammation and pain with fewer gastrointestinal side effects than traditional NSAIDs. Includes a measuring syringe for accurate dosing. Prescription only — for use under veterinary supervision.
How to Use
Shake well before use. Administer orally mixed with food or directly into the mouth around meal times using the dosing syringe. Initial dose: 0.1 mg/kg on day 1. Maintenance dose: 0.05 mg/kg once daily thereafter. Do not exceed the recommended dose — overdosing in cats has been associated with acute renal failure. Do not use in pregnant or lactating animals. Do not use with other NSAIDs or corticosteroids. Do not use in cats under 6 weeks of age. Discard 3 months after first opening. Store below 25°C. Prescription only.

Per ml: Meloxicam 0.5 mg. Excipient: Sodium Benzoate 1.5 mg. Honey-flavoured palatable suspension.
