Osphos is an injectable solution used to relieve forelimb lameness in horses caused by navicular syndrome — a painful condition affecting the navicular bone in the hoof. It works by slowing down bone breakdown, reducing pain and improving comfort in the affected leg. For horses 4 years of age and older only. Do not use in horses with kidney disease. Prescription only — for use under veterinary supervision.
How to Use
Administer by intramuscular injection only — never intravenously. Dose: 1.53 mg/kg (3 ml per 100 kg). Maximum dose: 765 mg per horse (one 15 ml vial per horse over 500 kg). Divide total volume evenly across 2–3 injection sites. Ensure the horse is well-hydrated before and after treatment. Observe for at least 2 hours post-injection. Can be repeated every 3–6 months if clinical signs return. Prescription only.

Clodronic Acid 51 mg (equivalent to Clodronate Disodium Tetrahydrate 74.98 mg).
