Royal Canin Renal Thin Slices in Gravy provides tailored nutrition to support adult dogs with Chronic Renal Insufficiency. This formula contains a moderate level of very high-quality proteins to help support kidney function. As renal insufficiency prevents the kidneys from being able to effectively filter phosphorus from the bloodstream, this formula is specifically formulated with a low phosphorus content. Some dogs may have a reduced appetite when they experience impaired renal function — this diet has an adapted energy content to reduce the volume of each meal, and a specific aromatic profile to help stimulate your dog's appetite in cases of food aversion. The texture of thin slices in gravy also eases blending with Royal Canin Renal dry food for mixed feeding. Suitable for dogs with azotaemic Chronic Kidney Disease (IRIS stage 2 to 4) and Chronic Kidney Disease with proteinuria (IRIS stage 1 to 4). Available as a single 100 g pouch. This is a complete dietetic veterinary feed. Use under veterinary supervision. Feed initially up to 6 months. Not suitable for growth, gestation, lactation, or pancreatitis. Transition gradually over 7–10 days. Fresh water should always be available. Store in a cool, dry place.
