Sucralvet is an antiulcer drug indicated for the treatment of gastric and duodenal ulcers, oesophagitis, gastric reflux, and gastropathies caused by drug administration — including NSAIDs and corticosteroids commonly used in veterinary practice. Sucralfate works by binding to the damaged mucosal surface, forming a protective paste-like barrier that shields the ulcerated tissue from stomach acid, pepsin, and bile — allowing the mucosa to heal naturally. Prescription only — for use under veterinary supervision.
How to Use
Administer orally on an empty stomach, 1 hour before feeding or other medications. Small dogs: 500 mg every 6 hours. Large dogs: 1 g every 6 hours. Duration of treatment according to veterinarian's criteria. Shake well before use. Do not administer simultaneously with other medications — allow a minimum 2-hour gap. Available in 15 ml.
