MERAVITAL Urinary is a high-premium diet wet food developed by veterinarians and nutritionists, which acidifies your cat's urine to help dissolve struvite stones. Since calcium and magnesium are the main components of urinary stones, Meravital Urinary contains an undersaturated — but fully need-covering — level of both minerals, which helps prevent crystal formation. The increased sodium content stimulates your cat's thirst and water intake, helping to naturally flush the urinary tract. Glucosamine and chondroitin sulphate help strengthen the epithelial cells of the bladder lining, which are often damaged in cases of cystitis and otherwise allow pathogenic germs to attach. Omega-3 fatty acids help relieve inflammatory processes in the urinary tract. Should only be fed on veterinary recommendation and under veterinary supervision.
