Renal diets are recommended as soon as creatinine moves out of reference range, before disease progression and inappetence develop. In most cases, renal diets may be continued for the cat's lifetime, with a full health check recommended every 6 months and periodic monitoring of renal biomarkers and blood mineral levels. In cases of diet-induced hypercalcaemia, switch to the Early Renal diet. Always ensure fresh water is available. Available in 85 g.
