Royal Canin Renal is a kidney support dry kibble diet containing tailored nutrition to help support dogs with Chronic Renal Insufficiency. This formula contains a moderate level of very high-quality proteins to help support kidney function. As renal insufficiency prevents the kidneys from being able to effectively filter phosphorus from the bloodstream, this formula is specifically formulated with a low phosphorus content. Some dogs may have a reduced appetite when they experience impaired renal function — Royal Canin Renal has an adapted energy content to reduce the volume of each meal, and a specific aromatic profile with a dedicated texture to help stimulate your dog's appetite, particularly in cases of food aversion. Suitable for dogs with azotaemic Chronic Kidney Disease (IRIS stage 2 to 4) and dogs with Chronic Kidney Disease with proteinuria (IRIS stage 1 to 4). Available in a 2 kg bag. Also available as wet food for texture variety. For use under veterinary supervision only.
Composition
Rice, maize flour, animal fats, maize gluten, maize, hydrolysed poultry proteins, beet pulp, wheat gluten (L.I.P.), minerals, fish oil, vegetable fibres, soya oil, psyllium husks and seeds, fructo-oligosaccharides, mono- and diglycerides of palmitic and stearic acids esterified with citric acid, marigold meal.
