Ilium Meloxicam is a palatable oral NSAID suspension for dogs, indicated for the alleviation of inflammation and pain in acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders — including osteoarthritis, discospondylitis, and soft tissue injuries. Meloxicam is a COX-2 preferential inhibitor that reduces inflammation and pain with fewer gastrointestinal side effects than traditional NSAIDs. Includes a measuring syringe for accurate dosing. How to Use
Shake well before use. Administer orally mixed with food or directly into the mouth using the dosing syringe. Initial dose: 0.2 mg/kg on day 1. Maintenance dose: 0.1 mg/kg once daily thereafter. Use the lowest effective dose for the shortest duration consistent with the clinical response. Do not use with other NSAIDs or corticosteroids. Do not use in pregnant or lactating animals. Do not use in puppies under 6 weeks of age. Discard 6 months after first opening. Store below 25°C. Prescription only.
Composition
Per ml: Meloxicam 1.5 mg. Excipients: Sodium Benzoate, Sorbitol Solution, Glycerol, Macrogol 4000. Honey-flavoured palatable suspension.
