Laxapet is a palatable mild lubricant laxative gel for dogs and cats, formulated to relieve constipation and aid in the elimination of ingested hair (hairballs). The liquid paraffin base lubricates the intestinal tract and softens faeces with 2–3 uses per week, allowing ingested hair and hardened stools to pass gently and comfortably. Caramel flavoured — palatable and readily accepted by most pets.
Note: Prolonged use may induce vitamin deficiency. A vitamin supplement is recommended as a preventative measure during extended use.
How to Use
Laxapet is palatable. To acquaint the animal with the taste, place a small amount on the nose or in the mouth. Cats — Hairball: 5 g (10 cm strip) daily for 2–3 days, then 2.5 g (5 cm strip) 2–3 times per week. Cats — Laxative: 2.5 g (5 cm strip) 2–3 times per week. Dogs — Laxative: 15 g (30 cm strip) 2–3 times per week for small dogs. Double the dose for large dogs. Store below 30°C. Keep out of reach of children. Available in 100 g.
