A prescription ear gel developed to treat mixed otitis externa of bacterial, fungal, and parasitic origin in dogs and cats. Its four-ingredient formula works simultaneously against ear mites, bacteria, fungi, and inflammation in a single daily application. Available in a 10g aluminium tube with a flexible cannula for precise ear canal administration. Veterinary prescription required.
Composition
Per gram: Permethrin 10 mg, Neomycin sulphate 3,500 IU, Nystatin 100,000 IU, Triamcinolone acetonide 1 mg. Excipients: polyethylene wax, liquid paraffin.
Dosage & Administration
Clean the external ear canal thoroughly before each application. Attach the flexible cannula to the tube. Introduce a pea-sized quantity (approximately 0.3g) into the ear canal once daily and gently massage the base of the ear to disperse the gel. Remove excess from the ear flap. Treat both ears even if only one appears affected, as ear mites are highly contagious between ears.
- Dogs and cats: once daily for 21 days
- Always clean the ear before applying
- Avoid staining the fur to prevent accidental ingestion through grooming, especially in cats
Do not use if the eardrum is perforated. Do not use in cats weighing less than 1 kg.
Benefits
- Permethrin eliminates ear mites (Otodectes cynotis) and other mite species
- Neomycin provides broad-spectrum antibacterial action against common ear pathogens including Staphylococcus

- Triamcinolone acetonide reduces inflammation, itching, and discomfort in the ear canal
- Four-in-one formula treats mixed infections with a single daily application
- Flexible cannula allows precise and hygienic delivery into the ear canal
Stop use and consult a veterinarian immediately if the ears become redder or more painful, or if neurological signs develop. Wash hands after application. Veterinary prescription required.
